Bit of an aside, did all the peeps from the freshers fair get added to the mailing list? Is someone on it with sending out a informational note nearer the time of the taster?

Yep everyone's added. I haven't sent any mass emails out yet but will do, probably beginning of next week.

@Mike - Could you post up some blurb I cab send round my department? Also, people are saying they haven't got emails about this yet, but that's hardly surprising with the state of the Uni email system!

Then come to our FREE taster session on the Sunday 30th October at 2pm in room MR5A on the 5th floor of the student union.
The taster session will be instructor-led in small groups from 2pm to 3pm. No experience is necessary, as the workshop will be primarily aimed at beginners, just come along in clothes that you're comfortable to move in!
We hope to finish within one hour so not to take too much of your time!
After the taster session, you're more than welcome to stick around, practise what you learnt, or come and talk to us (we're a friendly bunch!).

And for those that can help out, can you get to MR5A 1:55pm sharp, so we can quickly teach you the routine.

I'll be there, no email for me though yet. I'm not on the Uni email system, though if it's that bad that mail hasn't even left their servers, then there's not much hope. If you do need someone who has access to a decent mail service, let me know. 100mbps pipe available.

Possibly not, I got a list from last year but I don't think all of the emails were on it. I guess some of the other previous members might not be on it either.
If anyone hasn't received an email, then post/facebook me your email and I'll add it to the list.
